Entangle the Clues

Tangletrove Kelp rewards a patient blue pilot who leverages clues as part of a longer game plan. Tangletrove Kelp is an Artifact Creature that arrives with Ward 2, so opposing removal needs extra investment to stick. Once it is on board the card turns passive clue tokens into threatening 6/6 Plant creatures at the start of each combat, creating sudden attackers that can close a stalled board or pressure an enemy commander.

Beyond the combat transformation Tangletrove Kelp offers repeatable card selection. You can pay two and sacrifice it to draw a card when you need answers or to enable graveyard plays. This card fits cleanly into artifact and clue synergies and scales well into the late game where those 6/6 clues change the tempo in tight multiplayer matches.
