Stubborn Burrowfiend: Dig In and Dominate
Stubborn Burrowfiend is a compact threat that rewards an aggressive graveyard plan. At a casting cost of {1}{G} you get a 2/2 Badger Beast Mount that punishes opponents for letting you saddle it. When it becomes saddled for the first time each turn you mill two cards and then it grows by +X/+X until end of turn where X equals the number of creature cards in your graveyard. That sequencing makes it useful both as a tempo play and as a repeatable pump engine when you build around self mill or sacrifice effects.
The saddle mechanic fits Outlaws of Thunder Junctions frontier vibe. Use small creatures to meet saddle requirements and push damage through while stocking the yard for bigger swings. It slots neatly into Golgari and Mono green shell strategies that want early pressure and scalable threats without high mana investment.
