Cast it for {3} to add a steady buff that gives your Thopters +1/+1 and to convert incoming artifact token generation into extra airborne bodies. The body is a 1 over 4 construct which makes it a durable governor for token lines while letting smaller flyers punch above their weight in combat and in combat math during token floods.
The printed ability interacts cleanly with token engines and sacrifice synergies. When an effect would create one or more artifact tokens under your control those tokens are created plus an additional 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token with flying are created instead. That phrasing rewards deckbuilding that produces artifact tokens repeatedly and stacks well with anthem effects, equipped creatures, and blink recursion.
