Goad the Glory
Spectacular Showdown is a compact red sorcery that turns a single attacker into a recurring threat. You put a double strike counter on target creature then goad each creature that received a counter this way. The effect forces those creatures to attack each combat if able and to pick a different player than you when attacking until your next turn. It reads like a concise combat plan that rewards aggression and careful timing.
The overload mode expands the play from one creature to all eligible creatures for a heavier investment. In commander games the goad clause creates political leverage and can redirect board pressure while double strike amplifies damage output. Use it to enable a key creature to punch through blockers or to tilt combat dynamics in your favor without overcommitting your board state.
