Raise the Deck
Skeleton Crew is a compact anthem and recursion engine built for tribal synergy. At four mana it gives every other Skeleton or Pirate you control a permanent buff that improves combat trades and makes sacrifice lines more reliable. The secondary trigger creates a 2/2 black Skeleton Pirate token whenever one or more creature cards leave your graveyard so milling, looting, reanimation and sacrifice loops all feed the board presence in a consistent way.
From a piloting perspective this card reads as two tools in one. The static buff helps push through damage and shore up wide boards while the triggered token production rewards decks that repeatedly cycle creatures through the graveyard. The activated return ability costs five plus a black and brings the whole card back tapped which fits Commander games where incremental advantage and repeatable value win long matches.
