Shilgengar, Sire of Famine
Shilgengar, Sire of Famine is a tough two step engine for black decks. With Flying it can pressure from the air and threaten quick answers. Its first ability lets you Sacrifice another creature to Create a Blood token; if you Sacrificed an Angel this way, you get Blood tokens equal to the sacrificed creature's toughness, which scales with what you have on the battlefield. This design rewards careful timing and creature-sac outlets, a familiar path for graveyard and vampiric themes from Modern Horizons 3.
Shilgengar also provides a strong graveyard reanimation option. For {2}{B}{B}, you can Sacrifice your Blood tokens to Return each creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield with a finality counter on it. Those creatures are Vampires in addition to their other types, adding another layer of interaction as you reestablish a board presence with your chosen threats.
