Rise the Drakecaller
Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant is a compact engine card for Dragon decks that rewards commitment to creatures with immediate value and progressive growth. When Sarkhan enters the battlefield you may behold a Dragon and if you do you get a Treasure token, a small economy boost that fits both aggro and midrange builds. The printed triggers are straightforward and reliable, making Sarkhan a predictable piece to plan around during mulligan decisions and sequencing.
In play Sarkhan ties creature arrivals to incremental improvement. Each time a Dragon you control enters the battlefield Sarkhan gains a +1/+1 counter and becomes a Dragon with flying until end of turn, which lets him both scale and close out races. The card reads cleanly and interacts well with token generators and Dragon recursion, so expect consistent upside in decks that can present repeated Dragon entries. If you build to capitalize on behold effects and Treasure synergy Sarkhan functions as both value engine and secondary finisher.
