Return the Favor is a compact red instant that rewards precise timing and a willingness to invest extra resources. The spree mechanic asks you to pick one or more additions when casting. With one copy option you can duplicate an opponent or your own instant or sorcery on the stack. With the other option you can retarget a single target spell or ability. Both modes are useful for shifting tempo or doubling an efficient burn spell.
