Queen's Bay Paladin — Gravebound Vanguard
Queen's Bay Paladin is a solid midgame threat that doubles as a graveyard engine. With a casting cost of {3}{B}{B} and a 5/4 body, the Paladin creates immediate board presence and pressures opponents while enabling recursion plays. When it enters the battlefield or attacks you can return a Vampire from your graveyard to the battlefield with a finality counter on it. The catch is you lose life equal to that creature's mana value so plan your returns around recovery and reach for life gain or careful sequencing.
In the Lost Caverns of Ixalan environment this card slots into value oriented black decks where the graveyard is part of the toolkit. The Extended Art foil shown here is Light Play and displays the set art well for collectors and players who want a playable foil. Use the Paladin to recur a cheap attacker or a higher cost finisher depending on the board state. It rewards careful timing and offers consistent value without demanding elaborate setup.
