Memories Count
Proft's Eidetic Memory is a compact engine that rewards card advantage and deliberate draw sequencing. As a Legendary Enchantment for {1}{U}, it replaces the usual enter the battlefield trick with immediate card selection and removes the ceiling on hand size. That change alone shifts lines of play because you can hold answers without fearing discards and then convert surplus card draws into board growth.
There is a practical second purpose tucked into the text. At the beginning of combat on your turn you can turn extra cards drawn into +1/+1 counters on a chosen creature. The scaling is straightforward because X equals cards drawn this turn minus one. Use cantrips and library manipulation to bank incremental value and then press through with a beefed attacker. The card fits neatly into draw focused blue shells in the Karlov Manor environment where tempo and attrition meet.

Card Text / Rules Text (Printed) – When Proft's Eidetic Memory enters the battlefield, draw a card. You have no maximum hand size. At the beginning of combat on your turn, if you have drawn more than one card this turn, put X +1/+1 counters on target creature you control, where X is the number of cards you have drawn this turn minus one.
