Port Razer: Chain the Extra Combat
Port Razer is a reliable engine for combat oriented red decks in Commander. As a four four for three and two red mana, it trades power for a repeatable tempo advantage. When it connects with an opponent, you untap your entire board and immediately plan for another combat phase. That sequence rewards aggressive builds that can protect the captain and swarm the battlefield with haste or double strike creatures.
Play Port Razer when your deck already leans into combat tricks and ways to recur creatures. The restriction that it cannot attack a player it has already attacked this turn prevents exploit loops but does not blunt its value in multi step turns. In lore it fits Ixalan s coastal chaos, a pirate who turns victory into motion and forces foes to answer before the next lash of steel.
