Pitiless Carnage — Flesh for Cards
Pitiless Carnage is a pragmatic engine for decks that convert resources into card advantage. Cast for {3}{B} and you may sacrifice any number of permanents you control then draw that many cards. The line is straightforward and efficient; use small creatures, token swarms or expendable artifacts as fodder and rebuild your hand while refilling the graveyard for synergies.
The card also carries Plot {1}{B}{B} allowing you to pay and exile it from your hand to cast it later as a sorcery. That gives you timing flexibility and the ability to set up a midgame reset when you can best afford to spend board presence. In grindy matchups this reads as both a late game refill and a combo enabler if you need specific pieces in the graveyard or hand.
