Edge Tactics

Over the Edge gives you a compact answer or an engine in a single green slot. Over the Edge can simply remove an opposing artifact or enchantment when you need spot removal. Alternatively it turns a modest creature into an incremental threat by letting it explore twice, so you can find lands to hit a curve or grow a creature with +1/+1 counters while sculpting the top of your deck.

In Lost Caverns play Over the Edge as a flexible tool. Use the destroy mode to answer problem permanents early. Use the double explore mode when you want card selection and board development without overcommitting mana. The card sits well in tempo and midrange shells and it pairs cleanly with creatures that care about counters or enter the battlefield triggers.
