Notion Rain — Memory and Cost

Notion Rain is a compact midgame draw engine that leans into graveyard setup. Castable for one, blue and black mana it surveils two then draws two cards while taxing you for two life. The sequencing matters. Surveil first to sculpt the top of your library and increase the value of the two cards you will draw. That trade off of life for information is familiar in Commander games that favor recursion or flashback synergies.

In a Karlov Manor deck this card fills a steady role. It helps find answers, fuels delve or reanimation and offers card selection without replacing entire hands. Play it when you need a reliable refill but also want to feed the graveyard. It pairs cleanly with graveyard interaction and controllers who can recover life or convert the two damage into advantage.
