Midnight Inquisition
Memory Vampire is a practical addition for a control or mill focused deck where tempo and graveyard access matter. The card name behaves like a flexible threat. It flies over blockers and when it connects it can force multiple players to mill while giving you a targeted way to steal a key nonland card from the defending player without paying its mana cost. An experienced player will see how the milling scales with combat damage and plan blockers and pump effects around that trigger.
The flavor fits Ravnica with a detective vampire tracing lost memories through ruined archives. Use Memory Vampire to close the advantage gap while reusing opponent resources. It is most effective when paired with evasion, damage doublers or effects that reduce the number of blockers a player can assign. The card rewards timing and sequencing rather than brute force.
