Attach it to a creature to grant a +1/+1 boost and the goaded condition so it must attack and cannot target you when able. That simple combination makes the card a reliable motor for commanders that benefit from attacking or want to provoke unfavorable blocks from your opponents.

In the Karlov Manor scene this aura reads like a provocation ritual.
