Raptor on the Hunt
Marauding Raptor rewards decks that want cheap threats and repeatable triggers. The static cost reduction makes each creature you cast effectively cheaper by one colorless mana which smooths out midgame tempo and accelerates creature-heavy lines. The triggered ability reads like a self sparring match: whenever another creature enters under your control the Raptor deals two damage to that creature and, when that damage hits a Dinosaur, the Raptor gains a temporary offensive boost.
Play this in a token or reanimation shell and you gain persistent incremental value. It punishes opposing blockers when you flood the board and converts your own creature drops into survival tests that often leave the Raptor larger for a decisive swing. The flavor fits the set: a predator that sharpens itself on every new meal with predictable, efficient outcomes.
