Legion Warboss is a compact commander for aggressive red lists and token synergies. Legion Warboss pairs mentor with a recurring token trigger so you push incremental damage while replenishing the board. The printed ability creates a 1 1 red Goblin token at the beginning of combat on your turn and the token gains haste and is forced to attack this combat if able. That makes this two drop a repeatable tempo play that chains well with anthem effects and any card that benefits from creatures entering the battlefield.

Use Legion Warboss as an engine rather than just a one time attacker. Mentor moves counters to your best attackers while the token trigger pressures opposing blockers and taxes removal. In limited play this card accelerates early damage and creates difficult blocking math. In constructed decks it supports go wide plans and punishes slow starts from control decks. The art and flavor fit Ravnica Remastered with a goblin officer driving the swarm in front of the guild halls.
