The attack trigger doubles as targeted artifact removal and a card filter. If you destroy an artifact you owned, you replace the board impact with card advantage which keeps your plays smooth and your hand stocked.
The adventure Tail the Suspect gives utility on the play and late in the game. Investigate creates a clue token that can be sacrificed for card draw and the additional land play helps fix mana or accelerate a plan. Flavor fits the Murders at Karlov Manor tone.
