Trade Your Pain for Knowledge!
Infectious Inquiry is a cunning sorcery that elegantly embodies the Phyrexian ethos. With a simple twist of fate, you draw two cards at the cost of 2 life, while each opponent receives a poison counter. This card not only empowers your hand but also sows seeds of toxicity in your rivals, making it a dual-threat tool in your arsenal. The synergy with cards like Plague Stinger or Corrupted Conscience can amplify the poison counters, creating a perfect storm of strategy and resource management.
The beauty of Infectious Inquiry lies in its balance of risk and reward. By sacrificing a bit of life, you deepen your strategic options while weakening your opponents. This is especially beneficial in decks that thrive on poison counters or those that capitalize on card advantage. Make sure to integrate this card into your Phyrexian-themed strategy, where every card drawn is another step toward victory!
