Double the Trickery
Illusionist's Bracers rewards careful sequencing and activation timing. The card lets you copy any activated ability of the equipped creature as long as that ability is not a mana ability. In practice this turns utility creatures and triggered activations into repeatable value engines. Played on a creature with a tap ability or a sacrifice ability you control, the Bracers convert a single activation into two resolved effects and can shift the course of a midgame board state.
On Ravnica the flavor fits function. Attach the Bracers and you gain redundancy without increasing your spell count. The Equip cost of 3 keeps it in the midrange equipment slot so you plan your plays around which creatures will benefit most. For decks that rely on activated utility rather than raw combat stats, Illusionist's Bracers is a compact piece of tech that extends your options and punishes passivity.
