Cast for {5}{U} and enter the battlefield to bounce a target creature you do not want on the board or to reset one of your own threats. If you bounce your own creature you gain an immediate value engine by investigating and creating a Clue artifact you can sacrifice later to replace a card. The printed 4/4 body makes it a credible blocker late in the game while leaving room for tempo plays and artifact synergies.
The card fits into midrange and control shells that want resilient threats and economy of actions. In limited environments the Investigators trade as a solid finisher and a tempo tool.
