Game Trail: Flexible Mana on the Karlov Frontier
Game Trail is a pragmatic land for decks that need access to both red and green without committing to painful color fixing. As it enters the battlefield you get a simple choice that rewards hand construction. Reveal a Mountain or a Forest from your hand and the land arrives ready to use. If you did not build your hand around basic lands the card still functions as a controller of both colors though it comes in tapped.
In practice Game Trail smooths early curve issues and reduces the chance of color screw in two color decks. It pairs well with tutors that fetch basics, with fetch lands and with spells that care about lands entering untapped. The art and name fit the darker, investigative tone of the Karlov Manor set and the effect reads cleanly in multiplayer Commander games where tempo matters.
