Forger's Foundry is a compact artifact that earns its place in blue decks that run a light instant and sorcery package. The two and a blue investment buys a repeatable mana source and a way to exile small spells as they resolve. Play it early and it begins seeding a private exile pool; later it becomes a launchpad to recast those spells without paying their costs.

In Commander it rewards careful sequencing and mana planning. Use the tap ability to set aside value when a three mana or less spell resolves, then pay three and two blue along with a tap to cast any number of exiled spells as a sorcery. The design fits Outlaws of Thunder Junction by turning improvised tricks into a steady late game resource while preserving simple, functional interaction with spells.
