Fallen Shinobi — Slip Through and Steal the Top
Fallen Shinobi fits a quiet slot in graveyard aware Commander lists where deception and tempo matter. As a 5 4 Zombie Ninja that arrives via Ninjutsu for {2}{U}{B}, it turns an unblocked attacker into a sudden threat while letting you pressure opponents and dig into their libraries. The body itself survives many removal spells thanks to its midrange stats and the surprise factor from Ninjutsu keeps opponents guessing about blockers and combat math.
On contact with a player Fallen Shinobi forces them to exile the top two cards of their library and hands you a short window to cast or play them without paying mana. That effect doubles as card advantage and resource denial in multiplayer settings. The card rewards timing and reads well in decks that exploit cast from exile effects or that can close games quickly after stealing access to opponent resources.
