Expressive Iteration offers targeted card selection and tempo in a single cheap sorcery. Play it to inspect the top three cards of your library, then place one into your hand, one on the bottom of your library, and exile one. The exiled card becomes reachable for the rest of the turn which gives you a flexible play window for answers or gas. As a familiar piece of prismari toolkit this edition slices through clutter while rewarding decks that can make use of the extra spell density.
The card works well in spell heavy commanders and decks that value efficient selection. It pairs cleanly with cantrips and cards that let you cast off color or from exile, turning the temporary exile zone into an extended resource.
