Drana, Liberator of Malakir is a compact commander that rewards aggressive combat lines. She arrives for one and two black mana and brings flying and first strike which let her pick off blockers or trade favorably in the air. When she connects with a player she converts that success into board presence by placing a +1/+1 counter on each attacking creature you control. That trigger scales well with token strategies and with decks that push multiple attackers each combat.

The card reads like a blueprint for incremental advantage. Use her to force awkward blocks, to grow a wide attacking board or to bend combat math in your favor each turn. In lore she is a rebel who refuses servitude and instead rallies others to strike back.
