Deepmuck Desperado

Deepmuck Desperado is a compact tempo piece for blue decks that lean into mill and criminal triggers. The Homarid Mercenary trades at {2}{U} for a 2 4 body that pressures boards and forces graveyard interaction. When you commit a crime this creature makes each opponent mill three cards and that trigger fires only once each turn. Use it to tax opponents who tap out or to stack the graveyard when you plan to exploit milled answers.

As a near mint Outlaws of Thunder Junction collectible this card fits well in shell decks that abuse graveyard value or want a low cost repeatable tax. It pairs cleanly with extra crimes from targeted thefts and slow resource plays that let the mill trigger resolve. The flavor is on point for a salty undersea outlaw and the printed wording is straightforward for tournament play.
