Spike the Line with Daring Discovery
Daring Discovery is a compact red sorcery that turns a stalled combat into a decisive attack. For {4}{R} you get two distinct effects in one play. The first line reads Up to three target creatures can’t block this turn which is a straightforward way to punch through board stalls and clear a path for trample damage or a lethal alpha strike. The card is best used on the turn you want to commit to an all in or when you need to push damage through before an opponent stabilizes.
The second half gives you Discover 4 which generates incremental advantage by letting you reveal cards from the top of your library until you hit a nonland card with mana value four or less. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand. That function fits well in aggressive or tempo builds that want follow up plays after forcing through damage. In Lost Caverns of Ixalan lore the card captures the feel of a sudden find at the mouth of a cave and reads as a reliable tool for players who value efficient reach and card selection.
