Shroud of Secrets — Cryptic Coat
Cryptic Coat is a compact piece of kit for decks that value tempo and secrecy. The moment it enters the battlefield you cloak the top card of your library and then attach the Coat to that cloaked card. In practice this lets you hide a threat or a disruptive spell while immediately upgrading the creature you equip. The equipped creature gains +1/+0 and cannot be blocked which shifts combat math and forces awkward blocks from opponents.
Return synergy is built in. For a modest cost you can bounce Cryptic Coat back to your hand to reuse the enter the battlefield trigger or protect it from removal. This card fits into blue artifact strategies, control shells that need evasive attackers, or tempo builds that leverage repeated value from equipment. Play it when you want a small, repeatable edge in combat and library manipulation.
