Skybound Shock
Crackling Drake rewards spell investment and reading the flow of the game. The Crackling Drake couples flying with a dynamic power that scales to the number of instants and sorceries you own in exile and in your graveyard. It also replaces some card advantage when it enters the battlefield, letting you smooth into your next play while presenting an evasive threat that grows as your stack and graveyard fill.
In Ravnica games where instant speed interaction and graveyard recursion matter, Crackling Drake is a compact finisher that punishes passive opponents. Use it in decks that cast a high density of noncreature spells or that can stash spells in exile. The retro frame art shows the drake crackling with stored mana, a visual cue for the card text on the real estate of the battlefield.
