Cloudpost Light Play
Cloudpost enters the battlefield tapped. On its own it does not produce mana until you tap it, but it scales quickly in a Locus centered deck. Tap to add green mana equal to the number of Locus on the battlefield, which can accelerate out big spells or critical plays earlier than usual.
Flavor text on the card references an inscription on Tel-Jilad, the Tree of Tales: “He watches from above. He watches from below. He watches from within.” This adds a hint of the watchful, layered mana engine at work in a game that rewards careful timing. In Commander formats this land shines when your table leans on big mana and tempo swings, turning a steady setup into a decisive ramp engine.
