Brick by Brick Utility
Clay-Fired Bricks is an Artifact that plays like a toolbox and a small life buffer rolled into one. When Clay-Fired Bricks enters the battlefield you can dig for a basic Plains, reveal it and put it into your hand while also gaining two life. That immediate search effect smooths mana bases and fixes color screw in a way that is useful in limited and in some constructed shells that want on demand Plains access.
The card also offers a late game plan through its Craft ability which lets you pay a larger cost with specific artifact setup to transform the card. That converts a cheap utility artifact into a more impactful piece once you have spare artifacts to fuel its Craft with artifact cost. For players who build around sacrifice engines or artifact recursion this is a neat, predictable piece that improves consistency without taking up a slot designed for a win condition.
