Clavileno Leads the Blessed

Clavileno, First of the Blessed is a focused commander for attack based vampire strategies. Casting for one generic one white and one black mana, the two two body is light but the triggered ability turns your attackers into threats and card advantage engines. In practice you pick your key vampires and swing; each attack can convert a non demon vampire into a demon and grant a death trigger that replaces loss of board presence with both a draw and a four three flying token that enters tapped.

The effect is efficient and repeatable. Use evasion sacrifice or protection effects to capitalize on the death trigger and to offset the tapped entry. In multiplayer pods Clavileno pressures opponents while provisioning card draw, and in focused duels the incremental conversions make individual creatures harder to block or exile. This is the extended art foil printing in near mint condition and it carries the set pedigree of Commander Lost Caverns of Ixalan.
