Lantern of Full Spectrum
Chromatic Lantern is a staple mana fixer that quietly removes color trouble from your curve. It grants every land you control the ability to tap for one mana of any color and it can itself tap for any color. That dual role makes it useful in multicolor Commander shells where consistency matters more than surprise. The artifact sits on the battlefield and immediately alters how your lands behave so you can cast commanders and splash answers without reallocating your deck.
From a gameplay perspective this card reduces the tax of running five color requirements and smooths sequencing on early turns as well as late game. It pairs well with lands that enter tapped or that lack basic land types since it overwrites their output. The printed flavor nods to Dimir agents adapting the lanterns for disguise and subterfuge, which suits Outlaws of Thunder Junction while reminding experienced players that this is a tool as much as a relic.
