Cavernous Maw, Cave That Becomes a Body
Cavernous Maw is a practical addition to any deck that wants flexible board presence from its lands. As a Cave land it taps for colorless mana, and when the exploration pays off you can pay two mana to turn it into a 3/3 Elemental until end of turn. It remains a land while it becomes a creature, so it plays well with landfall triggers, sac outlets that care about lands, and decks that count specific land types.
The activation is gated by a simple cave count requirement which makes it an obvious fit for a Cave tribal shell or a graveyard heavy strategy that fills its pit. Cavernous Maw is useful in midrange decks that need an extra body on demand, and its uncommon rarity means it is easy to slot into casual or competitive lists without overcommitting to a narrow plan.
