Broodhatch Nantuko: Quiet Swarmkeeper
Broodhatch Nantuko is a compact value engine in green that turns damage taken into board presence. The creature name is printed on the card and it reads as a one drop with a second green pip. When it is dealt damage you may create that many 1/1 green Insect creature tokens. That triggers on any source of damage and scales cleanly with burn, blockers and global effects, so it fits into sacrifice synergies and token ramps without taking up a slot for a dedicated token spell.
The card also carries a morph cost of two and a green which lets you cast it face down as a 2/2 for three and later turn it face up for surprise value. In decks that want incremental advantage and interaction with damage replacement or sacrifice outlets this is a steady play. Use it as early defense, a value creature in the mid game, or a late game refill for token strategies. Broodhatch Nantuko is practical, efficient and easy to slot into green decks that want token utility and synergies with Insect or sacrifice tribal mechanics.
