Brass's Tunnel-Grinder is a compact artifact that turns digging into card advantage. For {2}{R} you get an enter the battlefield trigger that lets you discard any number of cards and then draw that many plus one. This makes it a tidy fit in red strategies that want to refill after looting, fuel graveyard synergies, or set up a big spell while still improving your hand size.

The Grinder also advances a transform route. If you descended this turn it gains a bore counter at your end step. When it accumulates three or more bore counters it removes them and transforms, rewarding decks that put permanents into the graveyard from anywhere. Brass's Tunnel-Grinder plays well as a tempo tool and a setup piece in archetypes that leverage discard, graveyard recursion, or chainable draw effects.
