Birthing Ritual creates a measured path from library to battlefield for green decks built on sacrifice and value. At your end step, if you control a creature, you look at the top seven cards of your library and may sacrifice a creature. If you do, you may put a creature card with mana value X or less from among those cards onto the battlefield, where X equals 1 plus the sacrificed creature’s mana value. The remaining cards are put on the bottom of your library in a random order.

In play, it rewards timing and board presence. It pairs well with sacrifice effects and recursion, letting you convert a well chosen creature from your library into threats on the battlefield. The result is steady incremental pressure that scales with your deck, aligning with green's resilience and value oriented plans.
