Slip into the Crowd
Become Anonymous is a practical tool for blue players who prefer disruption with a plan. The instant trades a problematic nontoken creature you control for two concealed threats drawn from the top of your library. You exile the creature and those two cards into a single face down pile, shuffle that pile, then cloak those cards so they enter the battlefield tapped as 2 2 creatures with ward 2. The exchange buys you tempo and hides your next plays from opponents while leaving you with board presence.
From a gameplay perspective this card excels in decks that want to reset creatures or trigger enter the battlefield effects while maintaining tempo. The cloak mechanic gives you plausible deception and a timed reveal for creatures with a mana cost you can pay later. On a technical level Become Anonymous fits into control or blink builds and pairs well with effects that care about face down creatures or that flip them for value. Add this Near Mint foil if you value a playable, flavorful inclusion from the Universes Beyond Assassin's Creed pairing.
