Dynamic Duo with Reach and Control

Balthier and Fran (Borderless) bring a unique blend of offense and defense to your battlefield. As a legendary Human Rabbit creature, this pair offers reach, allowing you to block aerial threats effectively. Their synergy with Vehicles enhances your board presence by boosting your Vehicles' power and toughness while granting them vigilance and reach, enabling aggressive yet versatile combat strategies.

Their distinctive ability triggers when they crew a Vehicle and attack for the first combat phase of the turn. You gain the option to pay mana to unlock an additional combat phase, creating more opportunities to pressure your opponent and maximize your damage output. This mechanic aligns well with aggressive or midrange decks that capitalize on multiple attacks per turn, integrating smoothly with the Universes Beyond: FINAL FANTASY set’s thematic of strategic teamwork and adventure.
