Pay {W}{B}{R} to grant your creatures +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of experience counters you have. This mechanism rewards careful play and tempo because every death fuels a bigger temporary pump you can leverage in the next combat step.
Scions and Spawns you control gain indestructible and annihilator 1 until end of turn, providing a defensive shield and a means to pressure your opponent’s defenses.
