Battle Tested Beacon

Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice brings a reliable structure to aggressive white red lists. Casting for {2}{R}{W}, she arrives as a 2/5 flyer that carries Mentor for incremental growth and a combat trigger that reads like a one creature anthem. Use her to shore up a single attacker or to seed counters across your attackers when you need a steady clock rather than an all in swing.

The beginning of combat trigger is where Aurelia earns her keep. Naming a creature and giving it +2/+0 fits a tempo plan, and the conditional trample and vigilance add tactical reach that matters during block math. In multiplayer pod games she pressures planeswalkers. In two player matchups she stabilizes the board. Practical, straightforward and built around combat timing, Aurelia fits into decks that want predictable pump and scaling via Mentor.
