Play it on an evasive attacker and you transplant whatever you exiled, or use it as a defensive tool that holds a copied threat in reserve.
In Outlaws of Thunder Junction this piece reads like frontier salvage turned arcane engineering. Whenever Assimilation Aegis becomes attached to a creature, that creature becomes a copy of the creature card exiled with the Aegis for as long as the attachment holds. The rule is simple. The decision is not. You must plan which creature to exile and when to attach the Aegis to maximize value. For pilots who prefer careful sequencing and layered answers, Assimilation Aegis rewards tight play.
