Arrester's Zeal is a clean, efficient Instant from Ravnica Remastered that does exactly what you need when combat math goes sideways. The spell gives target creature +2/+2 until end of turn and can be cast in response to a block or at the end of an opponent attack step. Experienced pilots use it to push through lethal damage or to save a key blocker for another turn.

Because Arrester's Zeal has Addendum this card rewards timing and deck construction that support main phase plays. If you cast Arrester's Zeal during your main phase that creature gains flying until end of turn which creates unexpected evasion and lets a grounded attacker become the finisher. It is a compact answer in aggressive, midrange or tempo shells where one point of combat trick discipline changes the game state.
