Shadow Stalker
Alley Assailant is a practical pick for decks that value stealth and timing. As a 3 3 Vampire Rogue that enters tapped you get a robust body late in the turn while the Disguise option gives you an early board presence as a 2 2 creature with ward 2. The disguise ability reads naturally as a bluff and a safety valve on an opponent that tries to trade inefficiently or burn removal on the wrong target.
Flip Alley Assailant face up when the timing suits you to convert tempo into life swing. When turned face up an opponent loses three life and you gain three life which can close races or stabilize you through a grind. The card fits into aggressive and midrange shells where incremental advantage and deception matter and it interacts cleanly with sacrifice outlets and blink effects.
