Slipstream Shifter
Aetherplasm is a compact trickster that earns its keep in tempo and surprise plays. The 1 1 Illusion comes down for {2}{U}{U} and changes the combat calculus whenever it blocks. When Aetherplasm blocks, you may bounce it back to your hand and immediately replace it by cheating a creature from hand onto the battlefield so it is blocking that same attacker. That exchange turns incoming damage into potential board development and can disrupt combat math and removal sequencing.
In practical play Aetherplasm is best used in decks that want evasive ways to deploy high impact creatures or that benefit from repeated enters the battlefield effects. Against removal heavy decks it serves as an insurance policy. Against wide attackers it converts a single block into a sudden attacker swap. The card fits Ravnica's theme of clever utility and guild-level subterfuge while remaining a straightforward inclusion for blue midrange and toolbox builds.
