Zealous Buffer
Arrester's Zeal is a compact instant that solves two problems at once. Cast it for {W} to give a target creature +2/+2 until end of turn. That single point of mana buys a timely punch in combat or a last second toughness boost to preserve a key attacker or blocker. The printed Addendum clause rewards careful sequencing. If you cast this during your main phase then the buffed creature also gains flying until end of turn which turns ground beaters into aerial threats for one decisive turn.
From a Ravnica perspective this card fits into tempo and combat oriented white shells. It reads well in limited where efficient interaction matters and in constructed as a flexible combat trick. Play it to push through damage after attacker declaration or to save a creature from removal that deals lethal damage. The card is straightforward to evaluate yet can swing a trade and change combat math when you plan your phases around Addendum.
