Infantry Shield is a compact equipment that turns a creature into an aggressive engine. Infantry Shield gives the equipped creature menace and mobilize X where X is its power, so a creature with a growing power stat converts its strength into additional bodies on attack. The wording rewards wide attack strategies and creatures that scale with buffs, making the shield a practical inclusion in token driven red decks in Commander Tarkir Dragonstorm environments.
Play the card to pressure opponents and to leverage recurring attack steps. The mobilize trigger creates tapped and attacking 1 1 red Warrior tokens equal to the creature's power and those tokens are sacrificed at the next end step. Equip for two mana lets you move the shield between attackers as the board state changes. Use Infantry Shield to push through blockers, refill your board after a sweep, or amplify a single heavy hitter into immediate presence.
